EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION

RWT is a new ultrasonic rail control car developed by Gilardoni. Based on the RDG series compact and lightweight digital fault detector, it performs semi-automatic testing of the rails in service.

Simple to use, Gilardoni’s ultralight rail control ultrasound car allows control over all types of rails. The car and probes can be customized according to customer requirements and rail geometry.

The equipment consists of a three-channel parallel screen with response probe adjustment and channel selection box. The car is fixed to the rail by means of an automatic centering wheel set with retention spring.
