Pit lathes are state-of-the-art equipment designed for turning or reprofiling railway wheels, mounted on their axles along with their respective grease boxes. These pit lathe models are built to maintain various types of trains and railway vehicles, depending on their maximum axle weight.

We offer three main models, configurable to all track gauges and different rolling profiles, tailored to the customer’s needs. The automated model allows the operator to perform the turning of a complete composition without the need to intervene in the train’s movement process or in the wheel turning decision.

The small model is specifically designed for the maintenance of trams, metros, commuter trains, and railway vehicle sets, where the maximum axle weight does not exceed 18 tons:
