Industrial Furnaces

Description

The primary purpose of the furnace is to eliminate any internal stresses that may be present on components, as well as possible defects that appear during welding, etc.

The technology used by these furnaces allows the components subjected to thermal treatment to be treated homogeneously on all sides.

In addition, the heat levels to which you want to subject the product can be easily and accurately adjusted, always in line with the process and with the customer and product requirements.

These furnaces can be configured in different sizes and with various optional accessories depending on the components and operations to be carried out by the workshop.

The image on the left shows the furnace operating at a temperature higher than 200ºC. As it can be seen, the highest temperature reached on the furnace surface is 26ºC at an ambient temperature of 18ºC.

Graffiti Removal Equipment

DESCRIPTION

The graffiti removal procedure has been specially developed so that special chemicals can be processed in the water treatment system and send to the drainage system in safe conditions.

Due to the special composition of graffiti paint, the process will require an operator to carry out manual work in the washing area of the plant. Once the operator has finished removing the graffiti, all byproducts can be collected in the drainage system for additional treatment together with the wastewaters.

The system includes two mobile scaffolds and a hot water pressure washer to facilitate graffiti removal work on trains.

Bogie Washing Plant

DESCRIPTION

The manual bogie washing cabin made of polypropylene or AISI304 stainless steel, is designed for washing bogie and other workshop equipment manually. It is equipped with a steam recovery system that reduces the internal moisture and allows the operator to work more comfortably.

In addition to the access for the units to be cleaned, the cabin is fitted with an access door for the staff, with a bull’s eye to see if the cabin is in operation, if there is any unit inside or if a member of the staff is performing maintenance.

The washing cabin can be configured to work in automatic mode. In this case, the units enter the cabin on a trolley and the operator must only select the desired wash cycle. Then the washing cabin automatically removes all dirt from the bogie.

Sand Filling System

DESCRIPTION

The mobile sand dispensing systems provide great flexibility to easily transport sand and fill the sand boxes of each train.

The system includes a tank that stores the sand. This is transported on a vehicle and by means of hoses the sand is loaded to the train sand boxes.

Two different proposals for dispensers are presented:

  • Driving solution: The operator transports the dispenser driving a motorized vehicle.
  • Accompanying solution: The operator walks accompanying a battery-powered cart where the dispenser is placed.

Train Washing Plant

DESCRIPTION

These washing facilities are drive-through plants which allow whole train compositions to be washed. It is designed with different washing programs, from washing only on the sides to a thorough wash, including the fronts and backs.

The washing plan consists of:

  • Semi gantries that apply water and detergent to the train
  • Vertical brushes for side washing
  • Brushes to fit the car roof, shoulders, etc.
  • Rinsing brushes.
  • Water and wax rinsing semi gantries.
  • Drying system

It is possible to install blower units for the under frame parts. The sandy and dusty particles that accumulate under the train are removed. The fans and suction nozzles fitted on the equipment allow virtually complete removal of these particles.

The aspirated air passes through self-cleaning filters that collect the dirt by storing it in containers.

During the whole process the preference is to recycle the water whenever possible. Indeed, recycled water is used to optimize the use of water and reducing tap water consumption.
