Portable Weigher for Railway Vehicles

DESCRIPTION

ACYGS, the official distributor of IVM, introduces the new portable weighing system for railway vehicles, also known as POWERVE®.

This equipment statically performs the measurement of the vertical force distribution on wheels and wheelsets.

Its excellent measurement performance, portability and ease of use make it an ideal tool to verify that all parameters related to rolling stock balance comply with the optimal operating limits.

This system has been continuously improving over the years, achieving high performance compared to high-precision static fixed weighing systems.

POWERVE® transforms any rail into a measuring station with very high accuracy and exactness characteristics and enables quick and easy weighing.

POWERVE® is an ITALCERTIFER certified weighing equipment (ref. of the evaluation report: ITCFC-19222-11-ATF-RA-00011), according to the following standards:

UNE- EN 15654-2:2020, “Railway applications. Measurement of the vertical force distribution on wheels and wheelsets. Part 2: Test in workshop for new, modified and maintained vehicles”.

UNE EN 50215:2011(only for the weighing of rolling stock and the vertical force exerted by each wheel on the track)

Electrical Shunters

SELF-PROPELLED SHUNTERS

This shunting system is suitable for moving traincars/wagons within train depots, offering great options for train shunting and allowing ease performance of the work. Managed by remote control. Available in all track widths.

The vehicle is made of a solid steel structure from profiles between 8 and 15mm.

The maximum load these models can drive is 100 t.

The vehicle can be adapted to all types of couplings for shunting according to the characteristics of the train.

This rail road shunting system is suitable for moving traincars/wagons within train depots, offering great options for train shunting and allowing ease performance of the work. It has a driver’s space which can be covered by a surface.

The vehicle is compact and robust with reliable batteries, and is able to drive up to 500 tons. It is made of a solid steel structure from profiles between 8 and 15mm.

The excellent driving position makes the task of monitoring the load an easy and safe procedure.

The vehicle can be adapted to all types of couplings for shunting according to the characteristics of the train.

Rerailing Equipment

Description

This system is fast and easy to use, hence reducing delays, optimizing costs, and providing a safe working environment while performing the necessary operations.

It includes independent control valves that allow both simultaneous and independent control. It also has remote control, so valves can be operated from a safe position without the need to be close to the track.

The system is designed for easy assembly. The hoses are colored, matching the colors of the pump control panel, making it easy to assemble quickly.

The lowering valves have an integrated hose rupture security feature which will allow a more controlled and safer lowering of the load.

We offer three different rerailing sets (Basic, Advanced and Premium) to suit the applications and needs of our customers.

Factory Acceptance Test for Ottawa Project

After coordination of various activities related to the maintenance equipment for the Trillium Line Extension Project in Ottawa, we have attended last week to the Factory Acceptance Test of the following depot equipment:

🔹 Underfloor Wheel Lathe, manufactured by KOLTECH Sp. z o.o. in Poland
🔹 20 Lifting Jacks (18 Ton), manufactured by Pfaff Verkehrstechnik GmbH in Germany

Track Replacement and Laying System

- Track Replacement and Laying System

The track laying system consists of a set of equipment with the function of laying the railway track quickly and efficiently. The set is made up of lifting gantries and platform trolleys.

HYDRAULIC LIFTING MACHINE SI-300

The structure of this machine consists of a framework made of composite beams, and tubular section beams for moving the sleepers and rails. The hydraulic lifting cylinders of the side columns are protected by the telescopic tubular system.

The structure houses: the diesel engine, hydraulic pumps, control hydraulic distributors, the hydraulic oil tank and the fuel tank, the battery, the drive engine with complete mechanical transmission, four rail-wheels and the driving seat with the appropriate safety devices.

The rail-extractors are also equipped with a mechanical device for adjusting the gripping height for the various types of rails.

SMALL TRANSPORT-ELEVATOR RAIL TROLLEY ETS-400

Built of high quality bent and welded steel sheet. The trolley is two-wheel drive, the rail wheels are mutually independent, and each has a shock absorber.

The platform is supported by 6 hydraulic cylinders. The command is given by the hydraulic controls of the hydraulic lifting machine SI-300. The cylinders are able to raise or lower the platform in parallel, with a travel of 300 mm. These cylinders are equipped with safety valve and load lowering control.

Built of high quality bent and welded steel sheet. The four rail wheels are independent, and each has a shock absorber.
