description
Bogie testing presses are test benches for mounting, dismounting and testing of all types of bogies and their springs.
These machines can be configured as simple units, for mounting and dismounting operations only, to high-tech solutions, ideal for dealing with different track gauges and for measuring multiple parameters such as track gauge, axle parallelism, axle diagonal, wheel diameter, wheel distance and suspension shim calculation.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Structure and Cylinders
- The base structure is made of steel, fixed to the ground, and has two supporting surfaces.
- The columns, made up of welded steel plates, are connected to the base frame and the top beam through high-strength bolts.
- 2 movable hydraulic cylinders for load application are installed transversely on the beam, together with load cells and linear transducers.
- The maximum force of the cylinders is 300 kN.
Sensors
- A laser sensor enables the measurement of the position of the inner face of the wheels while turning with the help of motorized support wheels.
- The machine can be adapted to different track gauges thanks to its adjustable moving rail, where the sensors are housed for the measurement of the different bogie parameters.
Software
- The machine’s software is simple and intuitive making the operator’s work easier.
- The generated documents are stored for evaluation on any computer connected to the customer’s network.
Maintenance
The machine offers the possibility to carry out remote maintenance services.
